The Apartment Property Manager will oversee the daily operations of residential apartment communities, ensuring smooth tenant relations and efficient property management. This role requires managing a medium-sized team, coordinating property maintenance, and maintaining compliance with relevant regulations. The manager will utilize software tools like Yardi and other property management platforms to support budgeting, reporting, and lease administration. Occasional local travel is expected, with opportunities for growth into regional management roles.

Responsibilities

• Manage tenant relations and address complaints promptly
• Oversee lease agreements and renewals
• Coordinate rent collection and enforce payment policies
• Supervise property maintenance and schedule inspections
• Manage property budgets and financial reporting
• Coordinate with vendors and contractors for property services
• Ensure compliance with housing regulations and standards
• Develop and implement marketing strategies for vacancy reduction
• Supervise and support a team of 4-7 staff members

Preferred Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of experience in property management
• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Proficient with Yardi and other property management software
• Experience with tenant screening and leasing processes
• Strong budgeting and financial management skills
• Excellent customer service and conflict resolution abilities
• Knowledge of regulatory compliance in residential properties
• Effective negotiation and leadership skills
• Strong time management and organizational abilities
