Development AssistantThe Development Assistant is responsible for supporting the planning and execution of development strategies. Reporting to the Associate Vice President, the Development Assistant will work as a member of the development team and will, from time to time, interact with other staff in the division and other offices across campus.This position will be based in Hoboken, New Jersey, at the main campus of Stevens Institute of Technology, with a flexible work arrangement as set by the Division of Development and Alumni Engagement (DAE).Key ResponsibilitiesAssist with projects and initiatives across the development team that support the cultivation, solicitation and stewardship of donorsSupport data entry and reporting and the preparation of gift proposals for the development teamAssist with development event preparation and execution as needed, including prospect and meeting briefings.Support correspondence and sharing materials between development and other campus officesQualifications and ExperienceA desire to be part of a collaborative team committed to advancing an institutional mission and a strategic planThe candidate must be able to communicate effectively, both orally and in writing.
