What You'll Do

As a Veterinary Assistant, you'll help keep our hospital running smoothly while providing compassionate care to our patients and outstanding service to their families. Responsibilities include:

• Assisting the veterinarian with patient care and medical procedures
• Safely handling and restraining dogs and cats
• Preparing exam rooms and treatment areas
• Caring for hospitalized patients
• Administering treatments and medications as directed
• Maintaining accurate medical records
• Supporting clients with education and exceptional customer service
• Cleaning, stocking, and maintaining a safe, organized hospital
• Pitching in wherever needed to keep the day running efficiently

Veterinary experience is preferred, but it isn't required. Experience working with animals, volunteering, pet sitting, farming, livestock, or other animal care is always a plus.

Most importantly, we're looking for someone with a strong work ethic, a willingness to learn, and a genuine desire to help animals.
