Lone Tree Post Acute is seeking a dependable and motivated Cook to join our Dietary Services team. If you enjoy preparing nutritious, high-quality meals and making a positive impact on the lives of others, we'd love to have you on our team.

As a Cook, you'll play an important role in providing delicious, well-balanced meals that support the health, comfort, and satisfaction of our residents while working in a collaborative and supportive environment.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and cook meals according to planned menus, recipes, and physician-prescribed diets
• Ensure food is prepared safely while maintaining excellent quality and presentation
• Follow all food safety, sanitation, and infection control standards
• Assist with food preparation, serving, and kitchen cleanup
• Monitor food temperatures and maintain accurate production records
• Properly store food and rotate inventory using FIFO guidelines
• Work collaboratively with the Dietary Manager and kitchen team to ensure timely meal service
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe kitchen environment

Qualifications

• Previous cooking experience in a healthcare, long-term care, restaurant, or commercial kitchen preferred
• Knowledge of food safety and sanitation practices
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
• Strong teamwork and communication skills
• Reliable, organized, and committed to providing excellent service
• Food Handler Certification preferred or ability to obtain upon hire
