Physician - Interventional Pain Management job at Hueman PE Talent Solutions. Stockbridge, GA. PartnerCare has partnered with Hueman to find an Interventional Pain Physician for the Axis Spine and Pain Center in Stockbridge, GA. As an Interventional Pain Physician, you will provide comprehensive multi‑disciplinary pain management care and create a safe, balanced, and patient‑focused approach to pain management and treatment plans. Hours are Monday to Friday, 8 a.m. to 5 p.m., no call. Qualifications Doctor of Medicine (MD) or a Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO) degree or foreign degree equivalent required. Valid and active unrestricted state medical license to practice medicine required. BCV/BE by the American Board of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation (ABPMR), American Board of Anesthesia (ABA), or American Board of Radiology with an Interventional Radiology subspecialty preferred. BLS/Advanced Cardiac Life Support Certification. 4–7 years of post‑graduate training internship and residency required. Completion of a Pain Management Fellowship or currently completing an ACGME‑accredited fellowship. Key Responsibilities Provide comprehensive multi‑disciplinary pain management care and may supervise ARNPs/Physician Assistants. Create a safe, balanced, and patient‑focused approach to pain management and treatment plans. Evaluate patients for medical concerns (e.g., injury, disease, chronic pain, or disabling conditions) and assess the physical and mental condition by performing comprehensive or problem‑focused physical examinations and taking medical histories. Determine and order appropriate diagnostic radiology exams. Determine and implement appropriate treatment plans for patients, providing relief from chronic pain using medications, nerve blocks, electrical stimulation, or other directed therapies. Perform procedures primarily at the nearby Outpatient Single Specialty Surgery Center with staff familiar with chronic pain procedures. Order, collect, interpret, and evaluate laboratory and other diagnostic tests to assess patient problems and health care needs. Maintain accurate, timely, and complete Electronic Health records detailing the patient’s treatment plans and outcomes; initiate timely consultation and referral when the problem exceeds scope of practice or expertise. Monitor ongoing progress and health of patients and modify treatment plans as necessary. Provide adaptive tools to improve overall health and physical functioning. Counsel patients and families regarding medical processes, condition management, medications, nutrition, and lifestyle changes, including drug regimens and potential interactions with food supplements, over‑the‑counter medications, and herbal remedies. Review patient documents to assess quality and effectiveness of care. Offer support and advice to patients receiving long‑term care. Direct, support, and collaborate with Advanced Practice Providers in Interventional Pain Management care delivery. Actively participate in growing the practice through marketing, education, and community engagement. Maintain strict confidentiality and adhere to all HIPAA guidelines and regulations.
