Role Summary
We are looking for a Vice President of AI Strategy to lead AI initiatives, driving value for the business by leveraging data and artificial intelligence to enhance decision‑making, performance, and operational efficiency. This leader will own the development and execution of the AI strategy, collaborating with the data team to transform available data into actionable insights through advanced machine learning models and optimization algorithms.
This strategic role focuses on working with business leaders and technology teams to define the company’s AI strategy and build scalable AI solutions used across the organization. The role requires exceptional leadership, communication, and organizational skills, balancing strategic direction with hands‑on execution.
Responsibilities
- Define AI vision, strategy, and associated practices. Lead the creation and ongoing relevance of the Company’s AI strategy in collaboration with business stakeholders.
- Build partnerships with executive leadership to execute the vision for managing AI projects and maximizing data and AI capabilities.
- Collaborate with the VP of Data to ensure the data platform efficiently supports AI, machine learning, and analytics capabilities across all departments.
- Maintain authority and accountability for exploiting enterprise data value and the AI systems used to augment decision‑making.
- Oversee the implementation and scaling of the pre‑defined AI strategy, ensuring AI models, algorithms, and processes are effectively deployed across key areas.
- Manage the development, refinement, and deployment of cutting‑edge AI models and pipelines across various applications.
- Develop and implement comprehensive AI governance frameworks, including policies, standards, and best practices.
- Lead data‑driven optimization efforts, applying AI for performance optimization across the business.
- Work closely with technical and business teams to ensure AI solutions are effectively integrated into workflows.
- Promote innovation and continuous improvement, exploring emerging technologies to maintain a competitive edge.
- Collaborate on data projects to ensure successful execution of critical data initiatives leveraged by AI.
Required Qualifications
- Proven experience developing and deploying AI/machine learning models and optimization algorithms across multiple domains.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to build, lead, and mentor teams in a dynamic business environment.
- Experience integrating with data platforms that support AI, data engineering, and analytics projects across an organization.
- Strong knowledge of AI and data technologies, including Python.
- Experience with Natural Language Processing (NLP) and model interpretability libraries, providing explain‑ability to complex models.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills, working cross‑functionally and managing relationships with multiple stakeholders.
- Ability to present complex data and AI insights concisely, making data understandable for non‑technical stakeholders.
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects, prioritize effectively, and deliver results in a fast‑paced environment.
Preferred Qualifications
- 5 years of leading AI projects at an enterprise level.
- Proficiency in data analysis tools and programming languages such as SQL, Python, and R.
- Understanding of data modeling and data architecture principles.
- Expertise in defining and implementing data strategy, governance, and data management best practices.
- Proficient with data governance best practices.

Compensation
Base Salary Range: $176,700 - $265,100
