Bartender - Full Time

Restaurant Bartender – full time Work Performed Verify ID and age requirements. Basic math for cash register operation, make change, total guest checks, count bank, prepare cash drops, total other charges, and understand portion sizes. Lock and store all beverage, food and other equipment items, deposit cash drops and secure bank. Take food/drink orders. Make food and drink recommendations to guests and answer all menu‑ and service‑related questions. Greet guests and deliver a memorable experience for all. Clear, clean and sanitize tables/bar. Complete side‑work throughout the shift, before and after. Help guests with any special requests/allergy information. Keep workstations and equipment clean, organized, and in good working order. Perform any other job‑related duties as assigned. Requirements At least 2 years of full‑time experience in a related position (bartender, server). Manual dexterity to use a knife for garnish, pick up glassware and bottles, scoop ice, mix drinks, and reach overhead to retrieve stock with or without reasonable accommodation. Basic knowledge of food and beverage preparation and service of various alcoholic beverages. Skill and coordination when using hands to write, pour, and carry several drinks, plates, and bowls at the same time. Ability to work in a high volume, fast‑paced environment while on feet for 4–8 hours. Excellent organizational skills and show initiative with ability to work well in a team environment. Good communication skills. Ability to stand and work in confined spaces for long periods of time with or without reasonable accommodation. Ability to lift/push up to 50 lbs. Maintain a friendly, cheerful and courteous demeanor at all times. Work nights, weekends and holidays. Proficiency in English. Must be able to work onsite at the location. Full time 40 hours per week, primary shift PM; holidays; weekends. Additional Preferred Skills/Qualities Second language is a plus, preferably Spanish or French. Compensation $8.00 per hour + tips.
