Desired Qualifications:
- Current North Carolina Speech Language Pathology (SLP) license
- NC Teaching Certification
- ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP)
- Previous experience in pediatric or school-based SLP settings preferred
- Strong collaboration and communication skills
Key Responsibilities:
- Evaluate and diagnose speech, language, and communication disorders in school-aged children
- Develop and implement individualized education programs (IEPs) tailored to each student
- Deliver engaging therapy sessions for students with various needs, focusing on evidence-based practices
- Work closely with teachers, families, and other professionals to maximize student progress
- Maintain thorough and compliant documentation of services and progress
- Participate in IEP meetings and contribute expert recommendations
