Area Sales Manager - Homebuilding

Key Responsibilities

• Team Leadership & Development: Recruit and coach Sales Agents to enhance their selling, closing, and soft skills while ensuring company compliance.
• Field Management: Travel to assigned communities to directly manage field sales and ensure local goals are met. 90% time spent in field.
• Data & Performance Analytics: Run reports, analyze driving metrics such as lead volume, sales conversion, and cancellation rates.
• Strategic Planning: Collaborate with the Director of Sales to develop sales plans for each community.
• Operations & Scheduling: Manage personnel scheduling for sales centers and ensure all promotional and sales materials are current, accurate, and properly displayed.
• Market Intelligence: Conduct comprehensive market analyses to track and evaluate competitive industry data, and assess feedback from mystery shopping initiatives.
• Communication & Collaboration: Facilitate bi-weekly sales meetings to maintain team alignment and professionally interface with prospective buyers, customers, external agencies, and internal staff.

Key Qualifications

• Management Experience: 1+ years of prior sales management experience.
• Industry Experience: 5+ years of proven success in new home sales .
• Communication Skills: Strong, professional written and verbal communication skills tailored for a diverse audience of buyers, external partners, and team members.
• Coaching Expertise: Proven ability to develop talent.
• Mindset: Results-oriented approach focused on hitting target KPIs and broader business objectives.
• Technical Skills: Proficient in the Microsoft Office Suite.
