ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS
- Operate, monitor, and maintain production equipment upstream of and including the checkweigher.
- Perform equipment setup, cleaning, and product changeovers.
- Set up and adjust fill heads, valve droppers, crimpers, gassing stations, and related production equipment.
- Monitor fill weights, gas weights, and equipment performance to ensure product quality.
- Perform minor troubleshooting and make necessary adjustments during production runs.
- Verify proper materials, components, and product specifications are being used.
- Assist with line washouts and equipment cleaning between product runs.
- Conduct routine inspections to ensure equipment operates safely and efficiently.
- Follow all safety, quality, and housekeeping procedures.
- High school diploma or GED preferred.
- Previous experience in a manufacturing or production environment preferred.
- Knowledge of production equipment operation and setup.
- Basic mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting abilities.
- Strong attention to detail and quality control.
