- Carry out comprehensive patient evaluations, request diagnostic testing, and design personalized care strategies
- Diagnose and manage acute, episodic, or chronic health issues in conjunction with physicians or autonomously (as per credentialing)
- Instruct patients and families on preventative measures, wellness practices, and disease management
- Prescribe medications and therapies according to your scope of practice
- Engage in patient follow-up and oversee chronic illness management
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to provide integrated, comprehensive care
- Maintain detailed and accurate documentation in electronic medical records (EMR)
- Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) or Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP)
- Graduated from an accredited Nurse Practitioner program
- Active Nurse Practitioner licensure in Colorado
- National certification as a Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP-C, AANP, or ANCC) or an equivalent specialty
- Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certifications (or ability to acquire within 90 days)
- Strong clinical judgment complemented by a nurturing bedside approach
- Superb communication abilities with patients, families, and healthcare colleagues
- Flexibility in fast-paced, patient-focused settings
- Proficiency with EMR systems and familiarity with telehealth technology
- A team-oriented mindset along with dedication to evidence-based practices
