Tire Retread Technician - Chamber Area

K&R Truck Sales and West Michigan International (WMI) are seeking a dedicated Tire Retread Technician to join our dynamic team. The Tire Retread Technician plays a crucial role in the tire manufacturing and recycling process, ensuring the quality and safety of retreaded tires. This position involves using specialized machinery and tools to put tires inside envelopes and place arc rings on beads, as well as loading and unloading chambers. Responsibilities

• Put tires into envelopes and place arc rings on beads
• Load and unload chambers
• Operate specialized machinery and tools
• Ensure quality and safety standards are met
• Perform other duties as necessary
• Shift: 6am - 2pm or until production is finished

Qualifications

• Ability to learn and operate facility equipment and machinery
• Requires standing and walking, with some bending, kneeling, stooping, crouching, crawling, and climbing
• Ability to occasionally move and handle tires weighing up to 100lbs
• Subject to cold and hot temperatures
