Position Assistant Principal of Instruction – 2026‑2027 Academic Year, Tulsa Honor Academy (THA). Core Responsibilities Establish a data‑driven culture and use assessments to ensure curriculum exceeds state and national standards of rigor. Coach classroom teachers through consistent observations, coaching sessions, and targeted feedback; collaborate in planning and facilitating professional development. Support classroom engagement and behavior, creating a positive school culture that maximizes learning. Build relationships with teachers, celebrate scholar achievement, and model THA‑expected adult behavior. Lead with a structured, yet loving environment, managing time and tasks, communicating effectively, and owning responsibilities. Qualifications & Certifications Bachelor’s degree required. State certification preferred. Minimum 2 years experience as a teacher or school leader. Experience in curriculum development and implementation. Proven track record of academic growth and achievement. Prior experience in a similar population school preferred. Charter school experience strongly preferred. Role Details Reports to and is held accountable by the school’s Principal. Year‑round (12 months), full‑time, exempt position. Hands‑on coaching of teachers in all subject areas and grade levels served by the school. Compensation & Benefits Starting salary range: $62,000. Salary commensurate with experience.
