Union Driver 3 - Tractor Trailer Operator

Job Summary Sunbelt Rentals is hiring a Class A CDL Driver to deliver and recover equipment, tools, and supplies to customer worksites. The driver will haul equipment on a flatbed (dovetail) or RGN (lowboy) trailer in urban, suburban, and rural settings, driving safely in construction zones. Responsibilities Deliver and recover equipment, tools, and supplies to and from customer worksites. Operate Class A truck and flatbed/dovetail or RGN/lowboy trailer in various road conditions. Maintain safe driving practices in tight construction sites. Perform minor equipment and vehicle troubleshooting and repairs at job sites. Provide customer service and maintain a professional attitude. Qualifications High School Diploma or equivalent (preferred). Valid Class A CDL license with acceptable driver's record. Prior training or experience with similar commercial equipment (preferred). Experience driving flatbeds, RGN/lowboy, dovetail trailers. Ability to troubleshoot and make minor repairs to equipment and vehicle at job sites. Customer service oriented attitude. Physical Demands Bending, squatting, crouching, reaching, lifting 50 pounds or more; work indoors and outdoors as required. Compensation Hourly rate: $56.45 (subject to collective bargaining agreement). The position may offer additional benefits as described below.
