Salary: $175,000 + Bonus Location: New York, NYDay to Day – Responsibilities• Execute and support M&A and strategic advisory transactions from pitch through closing

• Build financial models, valuation analyses and transaction materials
• Prepare client presentations, pitch books, marketing materials and other transaction-related materials
• Work directly with senior bankers on live transactions and new business opportunities
• Gain exposure across industries including Industrials, Consumer, Healthcare, Technology and Financial Institutions (Insurance, Banks, Specialty Finance)
• Partner with other areas of the firm including ECM/DCM
• Conduct company, industry and market research
• Participate in due diligence and coordinate with clients, sponsors and other transaction advisors
• Support senior bankers in business development and client origination
• Manage multiple transactions and projects simultaneously
• Take increasing ownership over transaction execution and client-facing responsibilitiesAssociate : Role Requirements• BA/BS in Finance, Economics, Business or a related field, MBA is a plus but not a requirement
• 3-5 years of relevant Investment Banking experience, Strong M&A, Corporate Finance and/or Capital Markets experience, all relevant experience will be considered
• Experience within a recognized industry coverage group preferred, coming from a deep M&A heavy shop is ideal
• Strong financial modeling, valuation and financial statement analysis skills
• Experience working on live M&A transactions strongly preferred
• Excellent PowerPoint and Excel skills
• Ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to work effectively with senior bankers and clients
• Strong attention to detail and professional judgment
• Self-starter who works well within a collaborative and entrepreneurial environment
• Strong interest in developing a long-term career within Investment Banking
