Front Desk Associate

The Front Desk Agent serves as the primary point of contact for guests, managing arrivals, departures, and daily inquiries. This role requires an efficient, detail-oriented professional dedicated to executing brand standards, processing transactions accurately, and delivering high-quality guest service in a fast-paced environment.

Core Responsibilities:

• Guest Registration: Execute check-in and check-out procedures, verify guest identities, secure payment methods, and issue room keys according to established protocols.
• Problem Resolution: Address and resolve guest inquiries, requests, and minor complaints efficiently, escalating complex issues to the Front Desk Supervisor or management when necessary.
• Communication & Coordination: Partner with Housekeeping, Maintenance, and Management teams to verify room availability, status, and fulfill special guest requests.
• Financial Accuracy: Process cash, credit, and loyalty point transactions accurately. Maintain an organized cash drawer and balance shift audits.
• Information Services: Provide accurate information regarding hotel amenities, hours of operation, local attractions, and transit options.
• Data Security: Maintain strict confidentiality regarding guest information, room numbers, and financial details in compliance with privacy regulations.

Required Qualifications:

• Experience: Minimum of 1 year of front desk or guest services experience within a Hyatt property preferred.
• Technical Proficiency: Operational familiarity with Opera Cloud and standard Hyatt property management systems.
• Core Competencies: Strong interpersonal communication, active listening, and problem-solving skills.
• Operational Resilience: Ability to remain calm, patient, and professional under pressure during high-volume check-in periods.
• Availability: Flexibility to work a variable schedule, including mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays.
