Our organization is in search of a Board Certified/Board Eligible Urologist to take on a leadership role within the urological segment of our URPS program and fellowship. This position will be situated at both our academic medical center in Lebanon, NH, and a critical access hospital in Claremont, NH, both located in the picturesque rural Upper Valley of New Hampshire. The selected candidate will join the Dartmouth Health system's URPS program with the intention of stepping into the directorship of the urological division as the current director approaches retirement. Additionally, this role will involve spearheading initiatives to expand and enhance our URPS program in New Hampshire and Vermont, particularly at the Valley Regional Hospital.

The ideal applicant will possess a robust clinical background, a dedication to rural healthcare, and a collaborative spirit to work alongside primary care providers, referring urologists, and OBGYN specialists. We are currently looking to recruit two faculty members who will operate at both the Dartmouth Hitchcock Medical Center in Lebanon, NH, and Valley Regional Hospital in Claremont, NH. One position will focus on general urology, while the other will specialize in Urological Reconstruction and Pelvic Surgery. We have a particular interest in establishing a robotic surgery program at Valley Regional Hospital.

Academic appointments will be granted based on experience by the Geisel School of Medicine at Dartmouth. Participation in academic and educational opportunities at the Dartmouth Hitchcock Medical Center is highly encouraged.

Required Qualifications:

• MD, DO, or an equivalent degree
• Board Certified or Board Eligible in Urology; candidates must have completed or be nearing completion of an ACGME-accredited residency in Urology
• Must secure and maintain a medical license in New Hampshire

This is a 25-bed critical access facility dedicated to meeting the healthcare needs of the Greater Claremont community. It offers emergency and urgent care services, primary care, comprehensive rehabilitation, and various specialty services, including general surgery, infusion therapies, and oncology.
