Key Responsibilities:

- Assist with the setup of work areas to ensure a clean, organized, and efficient workspace

- Prepare tables and equipment for daily production activities

- Operate a mixer to blend curing ingredients accurately

- Use a ham press to process meat products as required

- Lift and transfer hams from bins to tables safely and efficiently

- Lift bags of salt and other ingredients, adhering to safety protocols

- Use a knife to trim meat, ensuring quality and precision

- Unstop drains that may become backed up with salt or other debris

- Maintain a clean and safe work environment in compliance with safety standards

Skills and Qualifications:

- Willingness to obtain forklift certification (training provided)

- Ability to lift heavy objects such as bags of salt and meat products

- Basic understanding of food safety and sanitation practices

- Strong attention to detail and manual dexterity

- Ability to operate basic equipment such as mixers and ham presses

- Good physical stamina and ability to perform repetitive tasks

- Reliable, team-oriented attitude with a focus on safety and quality
