Chemical Process Technician - Pilot Plant

$22 per hour

We are seeking a detail-oriented Pilot Plant Operator for a 1-year onsite contract position in Ridgefield, CT. In this high-impact environment, you will work closely with lead technicians and campaign managers to support active pilot plant runs, ensuring safety, quality, and operational excellence.

responsibilities:

Assist lead technicians and campaign managers in executing pilot plant campaigns and daily operations.
Partner with chemists and analytical teams to address and troubleshoot process or equipment challenges.
Maintain high proficiency in equipment operation, batch record entries, and required calculations.
Actively participate in daily team huddles (9:00 AM and 2:00 PM) and PSOR meetings.
Conduct all activities with safety as the primary goal, adhering strictly to PPE and operational procedures.

qualifications:

High School Diploma or Associate Degree.
Hands-on experience working with established GMP procedures and bulk manufacturing.
Technical knowledge of manufacturing systems, methods, and operational procedures.
Strong troubleshooting skills related to manufacturing equipment and processes.
