Personal Care Home AideWe provide 24/7 residential care services that allow individuals with disabilities to remain in a home setting and meet their challenges of daily living activities with dignity, care, and compassion.This ad is for a position caring for adults in a personal care home.Shifts Available:Monday - Friday 2:00 pm - 8:00 pmSaturday - Sunday 12:00 pm - 8:00 pmJob Duties:Monitors resident condition by observing physical and mental condition, intake and output, and exercise.Supports residents by providing housekeeping and laundry services; shopping for food and other household requirements; preparing and serving meals and snacks; running errands.Assists residents by providing personal services, such as bathing, dressing, and grooming.Helps residents care for themselves by teaching the use of cane or walker, special utensils to eat, special techniques and equipment for personal hygiene.Helps direct care staff care for the residentsRecords resident information by making entries in logs; notifying the manager of changing or unusual conditions.Maintains a safe, secure, and healthy resident environment by following standards and procedures; maintaining security precautions; following prescribed dietary requirements and nutrition standards;Updates job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities.Protects the home care agency by adhering to professional standards, home care policies and procedures, federal, state, and local requirements.Enhances service reputation by accepting ownership for accomplishing new and different requests; exploring opportunities to add value to job accomplishments.Occasionally transporting residents to doctor's appointment and outings.Home Health Aide Skills and Qualifications:Creating a Safe, Effective Environment, Health Promotion and Maintenance, Nursing Skills, Health Care Administration, Resident Services, Verbal Communication, Listening, Training, Dependability, Emotional Control, Teamwork
