Monday - Friday, 5:00 AM until finish

About the Role:
We are seeking a Vehicle Inspector to perform inspections at a busy car auction. In this role, you will ensure that all units meet specified standards by conducting thorough inspections, completing checklists, photographing vehicles, and preparing online inspection reports for auction processing. This position involves working outdoors in various weather conditions, including hot weather, and requires physical activity such as bending, twisting, pushing, pulling, kneeling, and squatting. Candidates who can work independently, read and write in English, and handle physical tasks are ideal for this role. Your attention to detail and ability to accurately document inspection data will contribute to smooth auction operations and ensure vehicle quality standards are maintained.

Key Responsibilities:

• Inspect all vehicles according to provided checklists.
• Use phone apps for scanning and data entry (RF Scanner).
• Photograph vehicles for auction reports.
• Complete and prepare inspection reports and images for online auction processing.
• Work outdoors in various weather conditions, including hot weather.
• Perform physical activities such as bending, twisting, pushing, pulling, kneeling, and squatting.
• Ensure vehicles meet inspection standards without assistance.
• Maintain accurate documentation for each vehicle inspected.
• Support auction preparation by completing inspection tasks promptly and accurately.

Required Qualifications:

• Ability to work outdoors in hot weather.
• Use of phone apps for scanning and data input (RF Scanner).
• Read and write in English.
• Capable of performing physical tasks such as bending, twisting, pushing, pulling, kneeling, and squatting.
• Ability to inspect vehicles and prepare reports independently.
• Prior experience with vehicle inspection or a similar role.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience in automotive or auto mechanic fields.
• Prior work with checklists or inspection reports.

Tools / Equipment / Systems:

• RF Scanner (phone app for scanning).
• Mobile device for photography and report compilation.

Work Environment / Physical Requirements:

• Outdoors work in hot weather.
• Physically active tasks including bending, twisting, pushing, pulling, kneeling, and squatting.
• Ability to lift up to 40 lbs.
