Quick Facts: Location: Bay City, MI 48708 Start Date: ASAP / Flexible Duration: Ongoing / Temporary or Permanent positions available Shift: Day shift; Call coverage 1:3, shared support including Hospitalist support Hours/Week: Full-time hours (36-40 hours/week) Employment Type: Employed position Licenses/Certifications: MI State Medical License, DEA, Board Certified or Board Eligible in Gastroenterology Experience: Prior GI/endoscopy experience preferred Pay & Benefits: Hourly Rate: $1.00/hour (pay package discussed upon application) Additional Compensation: Competitive salary discussed at interview Benefits: CME funds Medical, dental, and vision insurance Malpractice insurance including tail coverage License and DEA reimbursement Two investment options What You ll Do: Perform ambulatory endoscopy procedures, with emphasis on inpatient ERCP and EUS, including specialization in ERCP and EUS required Support both outpatient and inpatient GI services at a modern hospital Collaborate with hospitalist and surgical teams for coordinated care Contribute to the growth of a new practice within McLaren Bay Region Utilize Cerner EMR system for documentation and care coordination Manage patient consultations, screenings, and follow-up care related to gastrointestinal health Participate in shared call rotation (1:3) to ensure patient care coverage What You Need: MD or DO degree from an accredited medical school Michigan medical license or eligible for licensure DEA certification Board Certified or Board Eligible in Gastroenterology Experience with ambulatory endoscopy procedures, ERCP, and EUS preferred Strong communication and teamwork skills About the Assignment: McLaren Bay Region, a leading healthcare provider in Bay City, Michigan, is seeking two talented Gastroenterologists to help establish and expand their GI services.
