Your primary responsibilities will include the accounting close process, consolidations, and financial reporting. You will communicate clearly with internal and external stakeholders, identify opportunities for continuous improvement, and collaborate effectively with peers and leaders across disciplines to coordinate activities and achieve business objectives.Job Description:· Ensures corporate accounting related transactions, reports and analysis are prepared in compliance with internal controls and policies, and relevant laws and regulations, including U.S. GAAP and SEC.· Independently applies the principles, theories and concepts of accounting to varied assignments, including analysis and interpretation of accounting data at a higher level of proficiency and productivity.· Interacts and collaborates cross-functionally in support of Devon’s goals, to improve departmental communications and overall accounting efficiencies, and to provide effective customer service.· Identifies, diagnoses, and recommends solutions independently, collaborates across disciplines, and demonstrates advanced project management skills, contributing to company performance and goals.Education:• Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration or any other related discipline and/or commensurate work experience is required.Experience: • 5+ years of relevant experience, preferably in areas such as Financial Accounting, Corporate Finance, Financial Operations or a related field.
