Job Title

Registered Nurse – Labor and Delivery

Schedule / Job Type

Contract | Nights | 3x12-Hour Shifts (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM) | Some Weekend Shifts Required | Onsite

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct nursing care to high-risk labor and delivery patients, including those with pre-eclampsia, diabetes, and multiple gestations
• Manage active labor, induction and augmentation of labor, and VBAC/TOLAC cases
• Monitor and care for antepartum patients with complex or high-risk conditions
• Respond to and manage maternal emergencies in an acute care setting
• Float between units as needed within the facility or nearby sister facilities
• Document patient care accurately using Epic electronic health records

Required Qualifications

• Valid Washington State RN license or active Compact RN license (required at time of submission)
• Minimum of one year of recent Labor and Delivery experience in an acute care setting
• Experience with high-risk obstetric conditions including pre-eclampsia, antepartum care, and maternal emergencies
• Proficiency with Epic charting system
• Ability to work night shifts including some weekend shifts

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience in a Level II Trauma Center or large acute care hospital setting
• Familiarity with VBAC/TOLAC protocols and management of multiples
• Experience with induction and augmentation of labor in a high-volume environment
