Job Title: RN - Cath Lab Profession: Registered Nurse Specialty: Cardiac Catheterization Lab Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Day Hours per Shift: 10 hours Experience: Minimum 2 years required License: Registered Nurse Certifications: BLS, ACLS preferred Must-Have: - Experience with multiple modalities in a trauma and interventional environment preferred. - Monitored experience with hemodynamic monitoring. - Must be able to respond within 30 minutes during on-call shifts. Description: Provide direct nursing care to patients undergoing diagnostic, therapeutic, and interventional procedures in the Cardiac Catheterization Lab. Assess, prepare, and position patients for procedures. Perform conscious sedation and hemodynamic monitoring as necessary. Prepare, implement, and document a plan of care. Communicate the patient’s condition to the physician before, during, and after procedures. Perform and facilitate diagnostic, therapeutic, and interventional procedures. Set up and provide equipment and supplies before, during, and after procedures.
