Diesel Service Technician Up to $35/HR + Monthly Bonuses | Monday–Friday Are you an experienced Heavy-Duty Diesel Technician looking for a shop where your skills are valued, your schedule is consistent, and there is room to grow? FleetPride is hiring a Diesel Technician II in Stevens Point, WI This is our advanced-level technician role for someone who can confidently diagnose and repair a wide variety of heavy-duty trucks and trailers — from routine PMs to complex engine, electrical, drivetrain, and aftertreatment repairs. Relocation Assistance Available. What You'll Be Doing. As a Diesel Technician II, you'll work on a wide variety of heavy-duty trucks and trailers, including: Preventive maintenance & DOT inspections. Air brake systems. Electrical diagnostics & schematics. Starting & charging systems. Wheel ends, steering & suspension. Cooling systems. A/C diagnostics & repairs. Drivetrain components. Transmissions & clutches. Differentials. Aftertreatment systems. Upper & lower engine repairs. Diagnostic troubleshooting. And everything in between! You’ll also have the opportunity to mentor and assist other technicians and help maintain FleetPride's high standards for safety and quality. What We're Looking For: 3+ years of heavy-duty truck/trailer repair experience preferred. Strong diagnostic and troubleshooting skills. Ability to work independently and efficiently. Willingness to coach and assist other technicians. Strong communication skills with managers, service writers, customers, and teammates. Own tools and toolbox. Valid driver's license.
