Postdoc & Research Assistant Opening at Human iEEG Lab in NY

The human intracranial EEG Laboratory ( at The Feinstein Institutes for Medical Research – Hofstra Northwell School of Medicine in New York is looking for one postdoc and one research assistant with earliest start date in June 2026. Responsibilities The postdoc will be part of an NIH-funded project studying thalamo‑cortical processes underlying multimodal auditory processing. The RA will assist in collection and analysis of patient data, project management, grant applications and progress reports, IRB management, data analysis using Matlab and Python, script development, and presenting lab findings. Responsibilities may be adjusted based on applicant interests. The RA will work on a scientific project with dedicated time. Qualifications B.A./B.S./B.E. in an appropriate discipline (e.g., neuroscience, psychology, biomedical engineering, computer science, physics) 2‑year commitment Experience with at least one programming language (MATLAB, R, or Python) Prior experience with neuroimaging, EEG/MEG, or brain stimulation data (desirable) Previous experience working with patients (desirable) Previous work in a research laboratory demonstrating independent scholarship, problem solving, and motivation (desirable) For more information, send your CV along with your questions to Dr. Stephan Bickel (View email address on click.appcast.io).
