Trailer Mechanic, Earn up to $33.58/ hr. Full-Time, Monday – Friday 2nd and 3rd shifts

R+L Carriers has an immediate opportunity for Trailer Mechanics at our Yemassee,SC. Service Center. As a Trailer Mechanic, your responsibilities will includethe diagnostic process, repair work, and overall maintenance of ourtrailers.

Requirements:

Experienced in performing safety inspections of equipment and prepare safetydocuments required by the Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration(FMCSA), company, and any other Federal, State, or Local regulations

Must be able to Interpret technical manuals

Must have experience in repairing or replacing defective parts, components,or systems

Experience in testing equipment for proper performance and to ensure that thework meets manufacturer’s specifications and legislated regulations

Experience in trailer PMs and repairs

Must be able to lift 50lbs

Must own your own tools

Must be dependable

Must be prepared to work in climate situation when needed.

Preferred:

Experience using Cetaris Maintenance Work Order System

Welding

Experience driving yard tractor/trailers

Previous experience working on Class 8 commercial vehicles

Sheet metal and composite panel repair
