Civil Engineering PE (Stormwater & Water Resources) - Land Development

Position Overview We are seeking a Civil Engineering E.I.T. to join our Hudson office. This position provides hands-on experience in civil engineering design, construction plan preparation, and field support for a variety of land development and municipal infrastructure projects. This role is ideal for an early-career engineer seeking direct project exposure, technical development, and mentorship while working on projects from concept through construction. Responsibilities Assist in preparation of construction plans, specifications, and technical reports Support civil design for land development and municipal infrastructure projects Perform design calculations and engineering analysis under supervision Assist with grading, drainage, and erosion control design Support stormwater management system design and analysis Assist with municipal sewer and water system design Prepare plan sets and exhibits using AutoCAD Civil 3D Perform on-site construction observations and field reviews Review construction plans for accuracy and completeness Coordinate with engineers, surveyors, and project staff Qualifications Required: Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering (or related field) Engineer-in-Training (E.I.T.) certification or ability to obtain Proficiency in AutoCAD Civil 3D Ability to read and interpret construction plans and specifications Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) Strong attention to detail and organizational skills Ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines Ability to travel occasionally as needed Preferred: Internship or co-op experience in civil engineering or land development Exposure to grading, drainage, or stormwater design Interest in pursuing Professional Engineer (PE) licensure Compensation & Benefits Health and disability insurance Retirement plan and profit sharing Paid time off and holidays Professional development opportunities Continuing education and PE licensure support Salary: Negotiable, depending on experience and qualifications.
