Job Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough patient assessments, including comprehensive physical exams and detailed evaluations of medical histories
• Assist in diagnosing surgical conditions through analysis of imaging studies and lab results
• Collaborate closely with surgeons in the development and implementation of tailored surgical treatment plans
• Provide intraoperative support, ensuring operating rooms are prepared, patients are positioned correctly, and surgical instruments are handed off during procedures
• Deliver outstanding pre- and post-operative care, including managing medications, wound care, discharge planning, and educating patients

Qualifications

• Master's degree from an accredited Physician Assistant program
• Completion of clinical rotations with a surgical focus is strongly preferred

Certifications

• Active and unrestricted PA-C certification
• Certification in BLS and ACLS is mandatory
• State licensure (or eligibility) as a Physician Assistant
