What You'll Do as a Machine Builder:

• Assemble machinery and equipment using hand and power tools
• Read blueprints, diagrams, and work instructions to complete assemblies accurately
• Align and fit components to meet required measurements and tolerances
• Use measuring tools such as tape measures, calipers, and micrometers to verify accuracy
• Inspect completed assemblies and report quality concerns or damaged parts
• Move and position materials and equipment safely throughout the work area
• Perform light fabrication, welding, machining, and preventative maintenance tasks as needed
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe workspace
• Work closely with team members to meet production and quality goals
• Assist with troubleshooting assembly issues and improving production processes
• Follow all company safety procedures and manufacturing standards

Skills and Experience

What You'll Bring as a Preferred Candidate:

• Previous experience in mechanical assembly or manufacturing environments preferred
• Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical documents
• Experience using hand tools, power tools, and measuring instruments
• Ability to read a tape measure accurately to within 1/16"
• Knowledge of calipers, micrometers, levels, and measuring gauges
• Basic shop math skills, including fractions and decimal conversions
• Ability to work independently and stay detail-oriented in a fast-paced environment
• Comfortable working in varying temperatures within a production setting
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
• Valid driver's license required
