Security Supervisor

Security Supervisor - Full Time Immediate openings! Primary location: Cape Girardeau, MO. Wage: $19.50/HR. Site hours: 6AM - 9PM. Responsibilities Functions as a supervisor of Security Officers, Lead Officers, and other company personnel assigned to one or more posts at client site(s); ensures all post orders are followed, rounds completed, reports filed; notifies proper authorities and client in emergencies. Coaches and disciplines personnel, seeks advice from company management or designated representatives, meets personally with employees and documents coaching and disciplinary actions. Trains Security Officers and other company personnel; reviews post orders and other details of assignments with subordinates. Ensures adequate coverage of all posts and positions in conjunction with company management or designated representatives. Prepares, files, and submits various reports as required. Inspects posts as scheduled and meets with subordinates to outline tasks and responsibilities. Meets with client representatives as scheduled or as needed to confirm all security requirements are met and provide quality customer service. Manages badging duties and visitor management. May perform the duties of a Security Officer in accordance with post orders and company policy. Qualifications 18 years of age or older. High School Diploma, GED, or ability to complete the GED program within six months. Above average computer and technology skills. Impeccable customer service and team leadership skills. Ability to remain calm and professional in stressful situations. Strong attention to detail and vigilance throughout the shift. Ability to respond to emergencies with rapid and effective judgment and use appropriate escalation. Willingness to participate in the company’s pre-employment screening process, including drug screen and background investigation. Prior supervisory experience in security, military, law enforcement or related field preferred. Open availability preferred; flexible and willing to work on short notice to cover call offs.
