Credit Review - Review Appraiser Manager

JOB FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES

The following sets forth the primary responsibilities of this job, but is not an exhaustive list. The Bank, through its managers and supervisors, reserves the right to assign any additional duties necessary to meet the needs of our clients, associates and/or shareholders. Utilize the Mercury Network for ordering and tracking commercial real estate appraisals/evaluations. Review appraisals/evaluations, up to and including the most complex assignments, to ensure compliance with USPAP and FIRREA, as well as reasonableness of concluded value(s). Interact with others (associates, management, clients, and vendors) in a professional and tactful manner including treating them with respect and consideration regardless of their status or position. Responsible for day-to-day management of the Department. Provide on-going training in all aspects of the department. Think independently to address issues relating to an appraisal/evaluation, and make sound recommendations to superiors as they relate to risk. Maintain current knowledge and consistent compliance with regulations and bank policies and procedures related to the position, including but not limited to Bank Secrecy Act (BSA) and Office of Foreign Assets Control (OFAC) requirements. EDUCATIONAL KNOWLEDGE AND/OR PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE (REQUIRED) 10+ years of relevant work experience. MAI designated Appraiser. Certified General License. Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and related work experience. State appraiser certification. License in good standing (no disciplinary actions) in at least one of the bank’s primary market areas (Colorado, Kansas and/or Missouri). 3+ years of previous management experience.

PREFFERED QUALIFICATIONS
