Quick Facts Location: Houston, TX, United States Start Date: 09/01/2026 End Date: 07/31/2027 Shift: Monday Friday, 7:00 AM 3:30 PM / 7:00 AM 5:00 PM / 7:00 AM 7:00 PM (14 shifts/month minimum commitment) Hours/Week: Approximately 35-40 hours Employment Type: Per diem/Independent Contractor (1099) Licenses/Certs: Unrestricted CRNA license (state), Board Certified (American Board of Anesthesia), ACLS, BLS, DEA, Graduate from accredited RN program Experience: Minimum 2 years of CRNA experience Pay & Benefits Pay Rate: $220.00/hour (All-inclusive, 1099) Benefits: Weekly pay via direct deposit Comprehensive medical benefits (W-2) Paid sick time per law Licensure, certification, travel, and other reimbursements when applicable Robust referral bonus program 24/7 dedicated team support throughout your assignment What You ll Do Provide anesthesiology services in outpatient clinical and surgical settings, including general, orthopedic, plastic, ENT, urologic, podiatric, vascular, gynecology, endoscopy, dental/oral, and ophthalmologic procedures Perform onsite anesthesia administration ensuring compliance with VA and national standards Collaborate with clinical teams to ensure patient safety and high-quality care Manage anesthesia care for a variety of surgical and outpatient procedures Document and communicate patient care details accurately and timely Meet performance standards for patient wait times and consult completion, notifying supervisors of any obstacles What You Need Unrestricted CRNA license in Texas or the ability to obtain one Board-certified CRNA by the American Board of Anesthesia Minimum 2 years of clinical CRNA experience Current ACLS and BLS certifications DEA license Excellent communication and teamwork skills About the Assignment This assignment is with a leading medical facility in Houston, Texas, dedicated to providing exceptional healthcare services to Department of Veterans Affairs beneficiaries.
