Parts Manager

Adventure Tours is seeking a highly organized and dependable Parts Manager to oversee the inventory, ordering, and distribution of parts for our fleet maintenance operations. The ideal candidate will have strong inventory management skills, experience working with vehicle or heavy-duty equipment parts, and the ability to support maintenance teams in a fast-paced transportation environment.

Location: Accokeek, MD

Schedule: MondayFriday, 9:00 AM 5:30 PM Pay: $20.00$30.00 per hour (based on experience and overall fit)

Responsibilities

• Manage daily parts inventory and maintain accurate stock levels.
• Order parts, supplies, and equipment from approved vendors.
• Receive, inspect, and organize incoming shipments.
• Track inventory usage and maintain inventory records.
• Coordinate with technicians and maintenance personnel to ensure timely availability of parts.
• Research and source cost-effective parts and materials.
• Monitor vendor performance and maintain supplier relationships.
• Process purchase orders, invoices, and related documentation.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe parts room and storage area.
• Assist with inventory audits and reporting as needed.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in parts management, inventory control, or fleet maintenance preferred.
• Knowledge of motorcoach, commercial vehicle, truck, or automotive parts is highly desirable.
• Strong organizational and time management skills.
• Proficiency with inventory management systems and Microsoft Office.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and work in a warehouse/shop environment.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• High school diploma or equivalent required.
