Digital Product Manager (Online Banking)

Position DescriptionThe Digital Product Manager will lead a team of direct and cross-functional resources across multiple business, IT, and operational teams. This is a critical and highly visible role requiring significant stakeholder influence and relationship management both internally (Line of Business Leadership, Marketing and Technology Senior Leaders and other functional experts) and externally (Strategic Partners, Vendors, and leading technology companies). This individual will lead a team of Digital Product Owners and Business System Analysts in execution of Atlantic Union’s Online Banking Strategy.Position Accountabilities Lead team of product owners responsible for the following:Assist each Line of Business in creating and implementing product vision, strategies and roadmaps that address business and customer needsAutonomoulsy translate business and customer needs into high value products within online bankingHold vendors accountable to deliver a higher quality product fasterAssess digital platforms in the external marketplace and make recommendations for potential partnershipsIdentify opportunities to leverage digital techniques for greatest strategic impact and defining the priority capabilities required to succeedDevelop the business cases and business requirements for digital opportunities and drive to executionLead multi-disciplinary teams to shape and implement digital strategies, programs, and initiativesBring the voice of the customer/client and the voice of the advisor/employee into our product features, ensuring that features delivered are aligned with the intended business outcomes, and align work with our target architecture road mapDevelop and manage goals and key performance indicatorsPartner with Marketing for acquisition support, product positioning, promotion of digital products and services and onboarding activitiesUnderstand all aspects of the internal and external environment including customer met/unmet digital needs through research efforts, in-depth understanding of voice of the customer, industry trends, vendor/platform capabilities and best practices for servicing the digital needs of our customersContinuously assesses competitive moves and monitors performance against objectives. Present data, strategies and recommendations to senior management to build buy-in to strategic recommendationsPrioritize product requirements and coordinate release plans with IT and key constituents.Serve as primary business point of contact for implementation activities and work closely across with key constituents to meet scheduled milestonesGuide and direct complex projects, identify key stakeholders and gain participationLead team of analysts responsible for the following:Meet with decision makers, systems owners, and end users to help identify business, financial, and operations requirements and systems goalsServe as the technical focal point for the business and operations teamsLead design sessions in prototyping new system or functionality for the purpose of enhancing business processes, operations, and information process flowDevelop and maintain design documentation working across the organization for documenting integration points between systemsUncover risk and deliver controlsAct as liaison to IT and Operations teams for managing change/release management efforts and troubleshooting system and end user issuesCoordinate and perform in-depth tests, including end-user reviews, for modified and new systems, and other post-implementation supportOrganizational Relationship Reports to Director of Digital BankingPosition Qualifications Education & ExperienceBachelor’s Degree required10+ years of financial services experience5+ years of experience in the digital spaceExperience as a people managerKnowledge & SkillsIn this role, it’s expected to show proficiency in key competencies:1.
