Med/Surg Tele Registered Nurse (RN)

We are seeking a skilled and qualified Med/Surg Tele Registered Nurse (RN) to join our team. This position is critical in providing high-quality care to patients in a medical-surgical telemetry setting.

Key Responsibilities

• Administer nursing care to patients in accordance with established protocols and standards.
• Monitor patient vital signs and provide telemetry monitoring.
• Collaborate with healthcare team members to create and implement individualized patient care plans.
• Document patient progress and adjust care plans as needed.
• Educate patients and families about health conditions and care plans.
• Respond to medical emergencies and provide appropriate interventions.
• Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient care.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 12 months of permanent Med/Surg Telemetry nursing experience required.
• Must possess a valid Registered Nurse license in the state of Ohio or a compact state.
• AHA BLS and ACLS certification required.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work well in a fast-paced and challenging environment.

Schedule

This position requires working night shifts, specifically 3-12 hour shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM.

Contract Options

We offer flexible contract options, including a 13 to 18-week contract duration.
