Job Title: RN - Ambulatory Care (OB/GYN)

Location: Syracuse, NY

Type: Contract | 14 Weeks

Shift & Schedule: Day Shift | Monday-Friday | No Weekends

Position Overview:
Navitas Healthcare, LLC is seeking RN - Ambulatory Care (OB/GYN) for an exciting contract opportunity in Syracuse, NY.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct nursing care to ambulatory patients in accordance with established nursing standards and organizational policies
• Perform comprehensive patient assessments and document findings accurately
• Deliver patient-centered care and education related to treatment plans, medications, and follow-up care
• Assist physicians and clinical staff during examinations and procedures
• Monitor patient conditions and communicate changes appropriately to the healthcare team
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation within the electronic medical record system
• Ensure compliance with infection control, safety, and quality assurance standards
• Collaborate effectively with interdisciplinary teams to support optimal patient outcomes
• Demonstrate strong clinical judgment and critical thinking skills in a fast-paced ambulatory environment

Requirements

• Current New York State Registered Nurse (RN) License required
• Current BLS Certification required
• Minimum 1.5 years of recent RN experience within the last 2 years in an acute care facility required
• OB/GYN nursing experience required
• Strong interpersonal, communication, and patient care skills
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous Ambulatory Care experience preferred
• EPIC EMR experience preferred
• Experience working in large acute care hospitals or trauma centers preferred
