Job Summary:

Grand Villa Assisted Living, a premier assisted living community in Winston-Salem, North Carolina, is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Assisted Living Dietary Aide to join our culinary team. As an Assisted Living Dietary Aide, you will play a vital role in ensuring the highest quality of life for our residents by providing exceptional dietary assistance and support.

Responsibilities:

• Assist with food preparation, cooking, and presentation in accordance with established recipes and dietary guidelines

• Maintain a clean and organized kitchen environment, adhering to food safety and sanitation standards

• Provide dietary support to residents with special needs, such as modified diets or food allergies

• Assist with meal service, including feeding or providing hydration for residents

• Maintain accurate records of foodservice activities, including meal service and inventory management

• Collaborate with the dietary team to ensure efficient and effective foodservice operations

• Develop and maintain relationships with residents, family members, and healthcare professionals to ensure exceptional care and service

Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent required

• Ability to lift, bend, and move heavy objects, as well as stand for extended periods

• Basic knowledge of food preparation, cooking, and presentation

• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with minimal supervision

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
