Senior Statutory Accountant

Overview Senior Statutory Accountant role supporting GAAP and statutory reporting with responsibility for the accuracy and timeliness of financial data. Location: Schaumburg, IL (Hybrid). Salary: $95,000 – $120,000 plus bonus. Responsibilities Process technical accounting journal entries and perform related reconciliations across gross and ceded activity. Support the monthly close process and maintain balance sheet and general ledger accounts. Prepare GAAP and statutory financial reports; assist with quarterly and annual statutory filings. Assist with audit preparation and respond to internal and external audit requests. Research technical accounting developments and communicate impacts to management. Document accounting processes and identify opportunities to improve controls and drive efficiencies. Required Qualifications Bachelor\'s degree in Accounting or Finance. 2+ years of experience supporting statutory filings. Property & Casualty insurance experience a plus. Strong knowledge of GAAP and statutory accounting principles; advanced Excel skills. #J-18808-Ljbffr Solomon Page
