Remote Customer Service Representative

To support patient billing processes, the full-time Remote Customer Service Representative will resolve billing concerns, implement collection policies, and assist patients with payment arrangements and charity assistance. Key responsibilities Accurately post data related to payments and adjustments while resolving patient billing and third-party payer concerns Interview and counsel patients regarding payment arrangements and charity assistance options Communicate workflow issues to management and rebill accounts as necessary Required qualifications High school diploma or equivalent One year of experience in a healthcare setting One year of previous customer service experience Knowledge of medical terminology and third-party payers Familiarity with collection laws and procedures #J-18808-Ljbffr West Virginia University Health System
