Job Title: Platform & DevOps Engineer

We're scaling our team and looking for people who want to help modernize a critical part of the financial system.

Responsibilities:**

Provision, configure, and maintain AWS Linux EC2 instances and associated cloud infrastructure.
Build, maintain, and optimize CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions.
Automate infrastructure and configuration management using Ansible.
Deploy, monitor, and troubleshoot production services written in Go and Node.js.
Manage PostgreSQL databases, including schema updates, backups, and performance tuning.
Monitor system and application performance, configure alerts, and proactively resolve issues.
Participate in bug triage and production incident response, collaborating closely with developers.
Implement best practices for security, scalability, and reliability across the platform. **

Required Qualifications:**

Strong experience with AWS services, especially AWS Linux / EC2, IAM, S3, and VPC.
Hands-on experience with Git and GitHub Actions for CI/CD workflows.
Proficiency in Go (Golang) and Node.js.
Experience managing PostgreSQL databases in production environments.
Strong automation skills with Ansible or equivalent tools (Terraform, Ansible, Chef).
Solid understanding of Linux system administration, networking, and security best practices.
Experience with monitoring and logging tools (CloudWatch, Prometheus, Grafana, ELK).
Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot production issues collaboratively. **

Preferred / Nice-to-Have:**

Experience with containers and orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes).
Familiarity with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) frameworks.
Understanding of reliability metrics (SLOs, SLIs) and production best practices. **
