Job Summary Position: Clinical Aide (Non‑Exempt). Reports to: Medications Coordinator. Status: Full‑Time. Responsibilities Assist clients with self‑administration of medications. Document all medications upon arrival and ensure all medications are returned to the client at time of discharge. Keep medications and medication room secured and organized per policy and procedures. Perform routine and random medication audits with proper documentation and accurate distributions/returns with assistance from the Program Manager or Assistant Program Manager. Work with clients’ medical practitioners to have medication orders in client records. Work with organizational care managers and university faculty to ensure all clients have a health screen and tuberculosis test within seven (7) days of admittance into the program. Work with other qualified staff members on medication policies and procedures. Document medication changes and coordinate care. Maintain comprehensive knowledge of Crossroads Medication Policy. Perform other duties as required. Qualifications Must meet Arizona Department of Health Services personnel member requirements: at least 21 years old or licensed/certified under A.R.S. Title 32 and providing services within the personnel member's scope of practice. Current CPR/First Aid/Narcan training. Current and annual negative TB Test. Current and valid Fingerprint Clearance Card. Clean Motor Vehicle Record (MVR) check performed annually and upon hire, preferred. Successfully pass a background check and an Arizona Department of Health Services Adult Protective Services check. Current “Assistance with Self Administration of Medication” training. Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Familiarity with EHR/EMR records systems. Computer applications/Microsoft Office knowledge preferred. Ability to communicate effectively at multiple levels, both verbal and written. Ability to work independently and as a member of a team. Education & Experience High School Diploma or GED required. 1 to 3 months related experience, and/or training or an equivalent combination of education and experience. Work Environment Fast paced behavioral health residential setting. Primarily indoors; some outdoor work may be requested. Physical Demands Regularly required to sit and speak or hear. Occasionally required to stand, walk, use hands to handle or feel, reach with hands and arms, stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl. Must occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds and seldom lift and/or move over 100 pounds. Specific vision abilities required include color vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus. Shift Requirements Days, nights, weekends, and holidays. Travel Valid AZ Driver’s License. May include travel between sites and other locations. Local and statewide travel when requested or required.
