Production Mechanic

We are seeking experienced Production Mechanics to join our manufacturing team. This role is ideal for skilled trades professionals who take pride in troubleshooting, maintaining, and optimizing high-speed production equipment in a fast-paced environment. Position Overview As a Production Mechanic, you will be responsible for maintaining the reliability and performance of our production presses and associated equipment. You'll work alongside a team of seasoned professionals to diagnose issues, perform repairs, and implement improvements that support production efficiency and quality goals. Key Responsibilities Troubleshoot, repair, maintain, and operate production presses and auxiliary equipment Perform preventive and predictive maintenance to minimize downtime Diagnose mechanical, pneumatic, and hydraulic issues with minimal supervision Partner with operations teams to quickly resolve equipment issues and improve performance Identify opportunities for continuous improvement in equipment reliability and uptime Ensure all work is completed safely and in accordance with company standards Qualifications High school diploma or GED required Proven experience as a mechanic or maintenance technician in a manufacturing or industrial environment Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills with production equipment Hands‐on experience with mechanical systems, hydraulics, pneumatics, and electrical fundamentals Ability to work independently and make sound technical decisions Comfort working in a fast‑paced production environment Willingness to work flexible shifts, including overtime as needed What We Offer Starting wage of $24.83/hour with no top‑out pay ceiling, shift differentials for 2nd and 3rd shifts, and wage increases tied directly to demonstrated proficiency in troubleshooting and repairing production presses Opportunity for continued skill development and career growth Supportive team environment that values collaboration and communication Full family health coverage for under $35 per week Life and disability insurance 401(k) with employer contributions & a pension plan Paid time off and holidays Tuition reimbursement and annual incentive pay opportunities Optional perks Why This Role This is an opportunity for experienced mechanics to deepen their technical expertise while working on complex, high‑speed production equipment critical to our operations.
