Part-Time Worker for South Beloit CustodianWe are seeking a reliable, organized, and hardworking Janitorial Staff member to help maintain a clean, safe, and welcoming environment throughout our facility. The ideal candidate will be able to work independently, manage their time effectively, and complete cleaning tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment.ResponsibilitiesClean and sanitize restrooms, common areas, offices, classrooms, and activity spaces.Sweep, mop, vacuum, and maintain floors.Empty trash and recycling containers.Replenish restroom and cleaning supplies as needed.Clean windows, mirrors, and high-touch surfaces.Set up and clean up areas for programs, meetings, and special events.Report maintenance concerns or safety hazards to supervisors.Ensure facility cleanliness meets organizational standards.Perform additional cleaning duties as assigned.Skills and Qualifications We Are Looking ForStrong time management and organizational skills.Ability to work efficiently and complete tasks within designated timeframes.Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment.High attention to detail and commitment to cleanliness.Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.Dependable, punctual, and professional.Strong work ethic and positive attitude.Ability to prioritize multiple tasks and adapt to changing needs.Ability to safely use cleaning equipment and supplies.Physical ability to stand, walk, bend, lift, and perform cleaning duties throughout the shift.Additional Schedule ExpectationsWhile the regular schedule is Monday through Friday from 5:00 PM to 8:30 PM, employees may occasionally be required to work weekends when the facility is rented for private events or when additional cleaning services are needed, such as restroom cleaning or preparing/cleaning event spaces.Preferred QualificationsPrevious janitorial, custodial, or housekeeping experience preferred but not required.Experience working in schools, community centers, or recreational facilities is a plus.We are looking for someone who takes pride in their work, works efficiently, and helps create a clean and welcoming environment for everyone who uses our facility.
