Travel RN – Med Surg/Telemetry (Stepdown Experience Required)

Requirements:

• Active Illinois RN License (required at time of submission)
• Minimum 4 years of Med Surg/Telemetry experience
• Stepdown experience required
• Experience reading cardiac monitors
• Experience managing cardiac drips
• Experience caring for post-surgical patients
• Experience with adult and geriatric patient populations
• BLS (AHA)
• ACLS
• NIHSS
• Fully COVID vaccinated
• Current Illinois Nurse Agency Certificate documentation required with submission

Responsibilities:

• Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care
• Monitor telemetry patients and interpret cardiac rhythms
• Administer medications and cardiac drips as ordered
• Provide care for post-surgical and stepdown patients
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams
• Supervise and delegate tasks to support staff as appropriate
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation

Additional Information:

• Night shifts, 12 hours
• Weekend and on-call requirements to be determined
• Traveler must meet all facility compliance requirements prior to start
