As a Special Education Teacher in this full-time, onsite travel assignment, you’ll work directly with middle school students across a variety of disabilities for the upcoming school year, from August 26, 2026, through June 11, 2027. Collaborate with supportive staff, experience diverse teaching methods, and gain valuable insight into new leadership approaches that will set your career trajectory apart.

Qualifications:

  • Valid Washington State Special Education Teacher Certification (required)
  • Experience teaching middle school students with various disabilities
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills
  • Ability to commit to a full school year, FT, Monday-Friday (7.5 hours per day)
  • Comfortable with both in-person and ZOOM interviewing formats

Responsibilities:

  • Deliver individualized and group instruction to students with diverse special needs
  • Develop and implement effective IEPs
  • Work closely with general education staff, administration, and parents
  • Monitor student progress and maintain accurate documentation
