SHUTTLE DRIVER!Ready to build a career with a company thats leading the foodservice industry?We help YOU make it!Our Shuttle Drivers start at $27.05/hour, with top earners making up to $33.88/hour!Annual earnings range: $56,264 - $70,470.40Schedule: Sunday - Thursday, with overnight hours from 8 PM - 5 AM.The primary function of this position is to drive tractor-trailers containing various products (meats, produce, frozen foods, dry goods, etc.) to and from remote dispatch sites.Benefits: Medical, dental, vision, 401(k), life insurance, strong safety culture, and much more!US Foods? is one of the largest food distributors with a culture and history of promoting from within, excellent training programs, and a continuous improvement focus.Main Ingredients of the JobSafely drive trucks to and from remote dispatch sites.May be called upon to perform duties of a Backhaul or Delivery Driver.Perform all pre-trip and post-trip equipment inspections.Physical RequirementsComfortable driving and working in inclement weather conditions required.What You Bring to the TableRegister with the FMCSA Clearinghouse*Must be at least 21 years of age.Must have a valid CDL Class A issued by the state of legal residence with necessary endorsements and DOT qualifications.Minimum of six months of commercial driving experience required.Doubles endorsement required; minimum of six months of driving experience with doubles endorsement preferred.Must be comfortable working overnight.Ability to operate manual transmission preferred; may be required in specific locations.Must be able to read and communicate in the English language, including holding a conversation, understanding highway traffic signs and signals, responding to official inquiries, and entering information on reports and records.Why US FoodsUS Foods? helps our customers Make It, with products and services that shape the communities where we live and work.
