Job Details Job Location: Abilene Site - Abilene, TX 79606 Salary Range: $16.50 - $24.00 Hourly Job Shift: 2nd shift (Evening) Job Category: Admin - Clerical THE OPPORTUNITY: We are seeking talented Customer Service Representatives who will be responsible for the meaningful work of Focusing on the Human Side of Technology ® by providing courteous and efficient service for our members. We are a 24/7 Call Center that receives after-hour and overflow calls for cooperative and utility companies across the United States regarding power outages and bill pay. You will never make a sale, call out for collections, or solicit business. At CRC, you will make a difference in countless people’s lives by being a calm and professional human voice to call when disaster hits, rather than an automated voice message. Navigates tools and resources to address the members’ inquiries properly Maintain a high level of service and meets performance targets. Maintain composure and demonstrate a calm, professional position while adapting to difficult situations, and uses de-escalation techniques when appropriate. Participates in procedure training in the classroom, and on-the-job training, and reviews all available manuals and resources to acquire and increase product knowledge. QUALIFICATIONS WHAT YOU’LL NEED TO SUCCEED: Ability to read, analyze and interpret instructions Excellent communication skills Proven ability to effectively learn/use CRC Link and other software associated with Call Center Operations Ability to maintain confidentiality Ability to accurately type/keyboard and navigate computer screens with reasonable speed. Ability to thrive in our fast-paced, customer-focused environment Ability to be flexible and receptive to change EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE: 1 or more years of Customer Service experience required Experience in a Call Center setting preferred High School Diploma or equivalent preferred Fluent in both Englishand Spanish Employees are required to be honest and trustworthy with a satisfactory background check and drug screen before they start WORKING CONDITIONS: The working conditions described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
