The Position:

We are seeking a highly experienced and driven Senior Tax Manager to join our expanding tax practice in the Los Angeles Metro Area. This role offers a hybrid work arrangement and is ideal for a seasoned tax professional with deep expertise in corporate and partnership taxation. Partnership track opportunities are available for the right candidate.

This is a key leadership opportunity to oversee complex tax engagements, develop strategic tax planning solutions, and play an integral role in the continued growth of our tax practice.

What You'll Do

• Manage and deliver tax compliance engagements, including preparation and review of corporate federal and state returns
• Oversee the preparation and review of partnership and limited liability company federal and state returns
• Develop and implement proactive tax planning strategies tailored to client needs
• Oversee, mentor, and train junior and senior staff
• Manage multiple client engagements simultaneously while maintaining quality and meeting deadlines
• Collaborate with internal teams across service lines

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field (Master's preferred)
• Active CPA license required
• 10+ years of experience as a tax manager at a national or regional accounting firm
• Expertise in preparation and review of corporate federal and state returns
• Expertise in preparation and review of partnership and LLC federal and state returns
• Strong experience developing and executing tax planning strategies
• Proven ability to oversee and train staff
• Strong communication skills, professionalism, and leadership presence
• Ability to work in a hybrid on-site capacity in the LA Metro Area
• Eligibility to work in the U.S. (H1B sponsorship likely available)
